The Partnership
The Partnership includes representatives from the following three sectors:
- Public
- Business and Social
- Voluntary and Community
The main aims of the Partnership is to:
- To give Gwynedd a prominent voice within national policy
- Influence the development and implementation of the Community Strategy
- Have a pro-active influence on policy within different organisations
- Promote partnership working, information sharing ac expertise in various areas to include the development of policies and projects
- Identify gaps and opportunities in environmental work in Gwynedd
- Raise awareness amongst the residents of Gwynedd about the environment and our effect on it
- Encourage the people of Gwynedd to work together to improve the environment
- Develop and promote innovative ideas and market them as examples of good practice
- Promote the quality of life value of Gwynedd’s environment
- Promote the economic, social and health values of the environment
Members include representatives from Gwynedd Council, Countryside Council for Wales, University of Wales Bangor, National Park Authority, Environment Agency, and the Assembly Government’s Enterprise, Innovation and Networks Department (previously WDA), Farmers Union Wales, Snowdonia Active, Medrwn, Antur Waunfawr, Communities First, Sustainable Gwynedd Gynaladwy and CPRW.
